R-Jay Jean, widely known as R-Jay the Haitian Comedian, is a Haitian-American stand-up comic delivering high-energy performances rooted in culture, storytelling, and real-life experience. With Haitian roots and strong influences from Bahamian and Jamaican culture, R-Jay brings an authentic Caribbean-American voice to stages across the U.S. and throughout the islands.
Since 2007, R-Jay has been turning immigrant experiences, family dynamics, culture clashes, and relationships into fearless, laugh-out-loud comedy. His style blends sharp wit, raw honesty, and island charisma — creating performances that are both relatable and unforgettable.
R-Jay has performed at premier venues including The Improv, The Funny Bone, Snappers and New York Comedy Club and has entertained audiences aboard Carnival Cruise Lines and The Bahamas Paradis and Sea Escape Cruise lines. His festival appearances include the Haitian Compas Festival, Best Of The Best, Miami Takeover and City of Deerfield Beach Juneteenth, along with performances throughout the Bahamas, Jamaica, the U.S. Virgin Islands and more.
As the founder of The Comedy Room, one of Broward County’s longest-running independent comedy nights, R-Jay has built a strong reputation not only as a performer but as a culture curator within the comedy scene. He has shared the stage with comedy heavyweights such as Tommy Davidson, Mike Epps, Cedric the Entertainer, Levell Crawford, Marvin Dixon and the late Papa Pye, widely regarded as Haiti’s King of Comedy.
Beyond stand-up, R-Jay starred in the stage production Dutty Money!, appeared on television programs including NiteTime Miami and Shrink Wrap Sketch Comedy, and acted in independent films such as Welcome to Static and In the Shadow of Solitude.
Offstage, he co-hosts Make It Count Wednesdays, a weekly podcast, and The Morning Drive on 96.9 FM, delivering Caribbean news, humor, and music to listeners daily.

-General Admission seating is assigned on a first-come, first-sat basis as you enter the showroom. The earlier you arrive, the better your seats will be.
-VIP seats are reserved for you. They are the best seats available for your party size at the time they are assigned.

The doors open for seating and service 1.5 hours before scheduled show time. It is best to arrive a minimum of 45 minutes before the show whether you plan to eat or not.
If all tickets are purchased under one order, this ensures you will be sat together.
If tickets are bought on separate orders, you can enter the name of the party you are joining in the ‘Customer Notes’ box on the checkout screen. If there is not a note, there is no guarantee you will be sat with another party.

Instead of a drink minimum, we have a two-item per person minimum in the Showroom, which can be fulfilled with any food or drink items from the menu.
